The Cape

I got a little discouraged today..thinking about my boys, cosmetology school, my career, and all of the 100 million things that I have to do everyday.  I spoke with a couple of my friends for a little encouragement, and read a couple of my favorite scriptures..

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans that I have for you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a FUTURE, and a HOPE

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding...in ALL thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct their path.

On TOP of the WORLD

I've done some amazing and awesome things in my life.  As of a couple of days ago, I will be attending cosmetology school, after obtaining 2 degrees (BS & MBA).  It has been a dream of mine to become this all in one fashion mogul, and to open up my own business....hair, makeup, fashion, photography is me.  I am that much closer to my dreams.  The Bible says in Romans 4:17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and CALLETH THOSE THINGS WHICH BE NOT AS THOUGH THEY WERE.  Speak it into existence.
If there is something out there they you desire to be...do it, it's never to late to get started on your dreams.  Remember no dream is to big..Believe it, believe it, believe it..

Natural Hair is a change and something to adjust to.  I have been natural for about a year and a couple of months, and let me just tell you..it has been a journey.

Even though one has to adjust, I have found that natural hair is so versatile...there's straight, curly, kinky, wavy, coily...you can do just about anything as you would with relaxed hair.  It's fun and I am loving it.
