I'm Slacking...

It's been a while since I put up a post.  I started cosmetology school, which has taken up A LOT of my time.  I absolutely love it, as well as the doors that are starting to open up for me.

I've been away for about a week, but I'm back.  My boys caught a stomach virus, which ended up with me getting sick.  I couldn't find anything to wear, was running late for work, so I had to throw something together really quick, and it ended up working....

Held Hostage???

Today was a very great day...the weather was nice, and work was pretty cool.  There was, although, a little hostage situation that Anita and I got into.  While looking for places to shoot, this beagle/mixed breed held us hostage.  I pull off, he decides to yap and get in front of the car...I stop, he stops..I pull off again, he decides to yap and get in front of the car once more...I stop, he stops...this goes on for about 3-5 minutes.  I immediately decide to just push the gas really hard and leave his little behind in the dust. Although he didn't give up without a fight, Anita and I won.

The Cape

I got a little discouraged today..thinking about my boys, cosmetology school, my career, and all of the 100 million things that I have to do everyday.  I spoke with a couple of my friends for a little encouragement, and read a couple of my favorite scriptures..

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans that I have for you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a FUTURE, and a HOPE

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding...in ALL thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct their path.
